SEO & Content

The slowest thing we sell. And the cheapest, eventually.

SEO takes months before it pays. When it does, the traffic keeps arriving without a daily budget. We'll tell you honestly whether your business should start now — or run ads first and come back to this later.

The real problem

Most SEO retainers are reports, not results.

Ranking for your own brand name is not SEO. It's a search engine finding the only company with that name.

What usually happens

Busy, but going nowhere

  • Monthly reports full of keywords nobody searches
  • Twenty thin blog posts written for a word count
  • Backlinks bought from directories Google ignores
  • Technical problems left untouched for months
  • Traffic that never turns into an enquiry
How we work

Foundation, then content

  • Technical audit and fixes before a single blog post
  • Pages built around what buyers actually search
  • Content that answers the question, then sells
  • Schema and structure so AI tools can cite you
  • Reporting tied to enquiries, not impressions
What we do

Six parts, in the right order.

Technical SEO

Crawling, indexing, sitemaps, schema, speed and broken links. If Google can't read the site properly, nothing else matters.

Keyword & intent research

Not the biggest keywords — the ones your buyers use when they're ready to pay.

On-page & content

Service pages and articles written to rank and to convert — not filler published to hit a quota.

Local SEO

Google Business Profile, local citations, reviews and city pages — for businesses whose customers are nearby.

Digital PR & links

Mentions and links earned from real publications. No directory packages, no private blog networks.

AI search optimisation

Structured so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews can quote you as the answer.

The part most agencies ignore

People stopped clicking. They started asking.

A growing share of searches now end in an AI answer, not a list of blue links. If the AI never mentions you, you were never in the running — however well you rank.

What we do about it

Being quotable, not just rankable

  • Clear, direct answers near the top of each page — the format AI tools extract
  • FAQ and Organization schema so machines read your pages structurally
  • Consistent business facts across your site, listings and profiles
  • Content written to be cited, with specifics rather than vague claims
  • Tracking mentions in AI answers alongside normal rankings

This is still new, and anyone claiming a guaranteed method is guessing. What we can do is make sure nothing about your site stops an AI from using it — which is more than most sites can say today.

Set expectations

What actually happens, month by month.

No agency can promise rankings. This is the honest shape of it.

Month 1

Foundation

Audit, technical fixes, tracking, and the keyword map. Very little visible movement.

Month 2–3

Pages & structure

Service pages, internal linking and schema. Long-tail terms begin to appear.

Month 4–6

Content & authority

Consistent publishing and links. Real traffic growth usually starts here.

Month 6+

Compounding

Rankings hold and build on each other. This is where SEO gets cheap.

If you need enquiries this month, SEO is the wrong tool. Run ads for that, and let SEO build underneath.

The process

How we run it.

01

Audit

Technical health, current rankings, competitors and gaps.

02

Fix

Crawl issues, speed, structure and schema sorted first.

03

Build

Pages and content published against the keyword map.

04

Compound

Links, updates and new topics, month after month.

Good to know

Questions we get every week.

How long before SEO works?

Expect four to six months before meaningful traffic, and longer in competitive categories. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting keywords nobody searches, or lying. We'd rather lose the project than start that way.

Can you guarantee rankings?

No, and neither can anyone else — Google's own guidelines say to be suspicious of agencies who do. What we guarantee is the work: audits, fixes, content and reporting you can verify yourself in Search Console.

Should I do SEO or ads first?

If you need enquiries this quarter, ads. If you're building something for the long run and can afford to wait, SEO. Most of our clients run ads while SEO builds underneath, then reduce ad spend as organic traffic takes over.

Do you buy backlinks?

No. Paid link packages and private blog networks work until they don't, and the recovery costs more than the gains. We earn mentions through content and outreach, which is slower and holds.

What is AI SEO, and do I need it?

It's making sure AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews can understand and quote your pages. You don't need a separate service for it — done properly, it's part of good SEO. We include it.

Do you write the content?

Yes. Researched, written and published — not spun or bulk-generated. You approve topics before we write, and you can review drafts before they go live.

Will you work on my existing site?

Yes, and usually that's better than rebuilding — an existing site has history Google already trusts. If the platform is genuinely holding you back, we'll say so rather than quietly working around it.

What if I stop after six months?

The pages and rankings stay — unlike ads, the traffic doesn't switch off with the invoice. It will decay slowly as competitors keep publishing, but you keep what you built. That's the whole argument for SEO.
