Branding

A logo is not a brand. A system is.

Identity, colour, type and voice — built as one system, so every ad, post, page and package looks like it came from the same company. Because inconsistency is what makes a good business look small.

Brand identity designed by AFOLINE - packaging, cards and screens
The real problem

Your brand looks like five different companies.

Not because anyone did bad work. Because nobody wrote the rules down.

Without a system

Every designer guesses

  • Three shades of your brand colour, all slightly wrong
  • A different font in every ad and every deck
  • The logo stretched, recoloured, or on the wrong background
  • Copy that sounds formal on the site, casual on Instagram
  • Customers never quite recognise you twice
With a system

Everyone builds the same brand

  • Exact colour codes, for print and screen
  • Two typefaces, with defined sizes and weights
  • Logo files for every context, with clear do-nots
  • A written voice, so copy sounds like one person
  • Recognition compounds instead of resetting
The deliverable

This is what a brand system looks like.

Not a PDF nobody opens. Working files your team and ours use every day.

How the brand sounds

We sayStraight answers, in plain language
We avoidJargon that hides what we mean
ToneConfident, never boastful
RuleIf a customer wouldn't say it, we don't write it

The colours above are just an example set. Yours will be built from your market, your customers and what your competitors already own.

What we do

From a name to a full identity.

Logo & identity design

A mark that works at 16 pixels and on a shopfront — with every file format your printer and developer will ask for.

Colour & type system

Palettes and typefaces chosen for legibility and contrast, documented so nobody has to guess again.

Brand voice & messaging

What you say, how you say it, and the one line that explains your business in a sentence.

Brand guidelines

A working document your team, printers and future agencies can follow without calling you.

Packaging & print

Labels, boxes, cards and signage — designed with real print specs, not guesses.

Social & ad templates

Ready-made layouts so every post and ad stays on brand, even when you're moving fast.

The process

How a brand gets built.

What you stand for, in one sentence people can repeat.

03

Design

Directions explored, one chosen, then refined properly.

04

Systemise

Colour, type, logo files, voice and templates documented.

05

Roll out

Applied across your site, ads, social and packaging.

The advantage

Designed by the people who have to run the ads.

Most branding projects end with a beautiful PDF and no idea whether the design survives a Meta feed at thumbnail size.

Because it's one team

A brand tested where it actually lives

  • Logos checked at ad thumbnail size, not just on a poster
  • Colours tested against real feed backgrounds
  • Templates built for the formats we'll actually post
  • Voice written to work in captions and WhatsApp replies
  • The brand rolls out the same week it's finished
Good to know

Questions we get every week.

How long does branding take?

A logo and basic identity can be a couple of weeks. A full system with voice, templates and packaging takes longer, mostly because the thinking at the start shouldn't be rushed. We'll give you a real timeline after the first call.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope — a logo refresh and a full identity system are very different projects. Tell us what you have and what you need, and we'll come back with a straight number.

Do I own the designs?

Yes. Full ownership, source files included — AI, SVG, fonts noted with their licences. Some agencies keep source files as leverage. We hand them over.

How many logo options do we see?

Fewer than you might expect, and that's deliberate. We present a small number of considered directions with the reasoning behind each, rather than twenty variations that turn the decision into a popularity contest.

Can you refresh our existing brand instead?

Often that's the better call. If your logo has recognition, throwing it away costs you more than it gains. We'll tell you honestly whether you need a rebrand or just a system around what you already have.

Do you handle printing?

We design to real print specifications and can coordinate with your printer, or ours. Print costs are paid directly by you — we don't mark them up.

What if we don't like the direction?

That's what the review rounds are for, and it's usually a sign we misread something in discovery. We'd rather go back to the thinking than keep adjusting a design that was built on the wrong idea.

Can you apply the brand to our website and ads?

Yes — that's the part most branding agencies can't do. We build the site, run the ads and manage the social, so the brand actually gets used instead of sitting in a folder.
